A PERSONALISED APPROACH TO IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF PREGNANCY
Depending on your natural ovulation cycle, The Lister Fertility Clinic can recommend the best IVF options for you
As part of IVF treatment, your consultant may suggest a course of medication to boost your body's egg production (ovulation). However, 'natural cycle IVF' is sometimes the best approach.
Natural cycle IVF means that no fertility medication is used to stimulate ovulation. Instead, the aim is to collect the single egg your body produces naturally each month. This approach may be recommended if you have an underlying medical condition, very low ovarian reserve or if you've previously had fertility medication that didn't increase your egg production.
Another option is 'mild stimulation IVF'. This involves using a lower dose of fertility medication to stimulate ovulation. This approach may be recommended if you have polycystic ovarian syndrome or another condition that can put you at risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
Your consultant will recommend the best approach for you.
