Initial consultation
Your chosen consultant will carry out your initial consultation, including a thorough physical examination. They’ll discuss next steps with you and design an investigation plan you’re happy with.

Tests & scans
You’ll have access to the most modern diagnostic advances in fertility treatment, including a range of specialised imaging services from ultrasound of the fallopian tubes to 3D pelvic scans, Hysterosalpingo Contrast Sonography (HyCoSy) and specialist sperm tests.

Follow up with consultant or nurses
If your tests suggest that you do have fertility challenges, your dedicated consultant and the wider team will discuss the results and the best way forward with you, supported by dedicated counselling, should you need it.

Fertility clinics have different criteria about who they are willing to treat, based on factors such as age, markers of low ovarian reserve (FSH and AMH levels) and previous treatment history.
Our own philosophy is a compassionate one, which is to treat all patients who have a potential to succeed. After discussing your personal history and performing tests to investigate FSH and AMH levels, we’ll give you clear and realistic information about your individual chances of success using our Lister Fertility Clinic Pregnancy Calculator.
We don't believe that the final decision on whether to treat should be ours alone. Once we have accurately advised patients of their chances, we believe that those with a low likelihood of success should also be offered fertility treatment if they’d like it.
Many patients are successful with us, often after being declined fertility treatment elsewhere. For some, being allowed to try treatment and failing may be part of an acceptance process that means other avenues can be explored. All our patients can attend as many counselling sessions as they need.
