    Welcome to Wellington Outpatients

    At Wellington Outpatients we see over 30,000 patients each year across a wide range of services including Orthopaedic Care, Spinal Care, Digestive Health, Neurosurgery, Oncology and Women's health services including our Breast Care Unit.

    Our outpatients centre is a short walk from Lord’s Cricket Ground and we have a regular hospital shuttle bus between the centre and the main Wellington Hospital campus buildings.

    This is The Wellington Hospital’s main outpatient and diagnosis centre, with 38 consulting rooms, 15 day case rooms and 4 theatres, and is the largest private outpatient centres in the UK. Through our partnership with Central Health Physiotherapy we also provide outpatient physiotherapy in our state-of-the-art physiotherapy gym. We offer the full range of diagnostic imaging services available including PET-CT scanner. Most initial consultations with our consultants will take place here at the Centre.

    The Breast Unit

    At Wellington Outpatients our breast care specialist team provide a comprehensive breast care service for those experiencing symptomatic breast problems. We also provide a screening service for asymptomatic (no symptoms)or for those with a family history of cancer. 

    The unit offers a one-stop diagnostic service with a breast consultant, which includes:

    Neurosurgery

    Our Neurosurgery Centre has a global reputation for successfully managing and treating the most challenging neurological conditions affecting the brain and spine. We are also home to the largest hospital-based private acute neurological rehabilitation unit in the UK.

    Wellington Outpatients FAQs

    No, there is some metered parking on the streets around the centre and there is an independent multi-story car park in St John's Wood or an NCP in Maida Vale. The Wellington runs a customer shuttle bus between its 4 main buildings and you can access this service at any of our main receptions. 
    The last time for appointments at Wellington Outpatients is XX. Appointments will need to be booked in advance.
    We provide a walk-in Urgent Care service at our main South Building in St John's Wood.  Alternatively the closest NHS Emergency departments at The Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead or St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
