Dr Hadavi is a highly qualified and experienced consultant in rheumatology and general internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Barts and the London School of Medicine where he received his medical degree and a BSc (Hons) in Experimental Pathology. He then went on to complete his rheumatology training in East of England at leading institutions, including Cambridge University Hospitals. Whilst at Addenbrookes, he worked as a research fellow dedicated to a number of clinical trials on the Rheumatology Research Unit, recruiting patients with psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis.
At Homerton Hospital where he runs his NHS general rheumatology clinics, he also runs a unique collaborative antenatal/rheumatology clinic with consultant obstetricians where they treat pregnant women with rheumatic diseases.
He has completed a post graduate certificate in musculoskeletal ultrasonography and is highly trained in performing ultrasound guided joint and soft tissue injections and aspirations to treat various rheumatic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, bursitis and tendonitis.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Hadavi is active in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He is the lead for undergraduate rheumatology training for Barts and the London School of Medicine students at Homerton Hospital.
Dr Hadavi provides holistic and compassionate care to his patients that is evidence-based. He believes in forming partnerships with his patients based on respect, honesty, and accountability. Patient feedback highlights that he cares for his patients, is a good listener, and excellent communicator.
