Mr Sachin Yallappa is a highly qualified Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist, practising at University Hospitals Birmingham.
He provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of urological and men’s health conditions, with particular expertise in andrology, penile and testicular cancer, reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive urological procedures.
Mr Yallappa’s practice at University Hospitals Birmingham serves as a tertiary referral centre for Andrology in the West Midlands. He regularly accepts referrals for complex men’s health issues, including penile cancer, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male infertility, hypogonadism, and complications following prostate surgery.
Mr Yallappa completed a Master’s in General Surgery (MS) in India and subsequently gained international experience as a Surgical Resident (MD) at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He holds a ChM in Urology from the University of Edinburgh, where he graduated top of his class and was awarded the Henry Wade Gold Medal. He went on to achieve FRCS (Urology) and undertook a Post-CCT Fellowship in Andrology at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), one of the UK’s leading centres for men’s health and male fertility.
He has presented widely at national and international meetings, including BAUS, EAU, WCE, and SIU, and has published extensively on stone disease, endourology, and andrological reconstruction. Mr Yallappa’s approach combines advanced surgical techniques with a personalised, evidence-based philosophy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
