About
Professor Jonathan Waxman trained at University College and University College Hospital, London. He is currently a Professor of Oncology at Imperial College London and played a central role in the campaign to build the Hammersmith Cancer Centre. He founded the Prostate Cancer Charity, which will raise £20m in the current financial year. Professor Waxman was previously an Imperial Cancer Research Fund Research Fellow at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. His clinical and laboratory research focus is prostate cancer. He has written over 400 research papers and book chapters, authored eleven medical books, a novel, a patient information book, and a legal textbook. He also writes on healthcare policy for major newspapers.
