Professor Bruce Kidd is an esteemed Consultant Rheumatologist, and a professor of clinical rheumatology at Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry. His research into pain mechanisms in rheumatic diseases is highly respected, as is his work on early diagnosis and management of inflammatory spinal disorders. Professor Kidd has always been dedicated to medical education for doctors, allied health professionals, and members of the public alike.
Professor Kidd is a rheumatologist with a specialist interest in chronic musculoskeletal pain. He is well-equipped to assist patients with symptoms arising from spinal disorders, inflammatory arthritis and soft tissue disorders. He also sees individuals suffering from less well defined disorders including fibromyalgia and work related upper limb Disorders.
Chronic pain is often associated with anxiety and uncertainty about the future.
