Dr Nilesh Pareek is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at King's College Hospital, London and an Adjunct Senior lecturer at King's College London. He has an interest in several aspects of coronary artery disease and in particular, percutaneous coronary intervention for acute syndromes, adjunctive technologies for PCI and intra-coronary imaging.
He is co-lead of the BCIS Working Group for Cardiac Arrest and Cardiogenic Shock and serves on Pan-London ACS Advisory and Cardiac Arrest Working Groups.
He is a clinician scientist where his research focuses on novel prediction modelling techniques to improve patient phenotyping and risk stratification in patients with coronary artery disease. In particular, is research interest concentrate on out of hospital cardiac arrest and cardiogenic shock and also plaque biology. He has published extensively in internationally renowned, peer-reviewed journals and is an internationally respected leader in the field of cardiac arrest and acute cardiology, regularly speaking at international conferences.
