Miss Pallavi Latthe is a Consultant Urogynaecologist at Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust and is the only accredited subspecialist within Birmingham. She oversees both the urogynaecology service and paediatric & adolescent Gynaecology unit at the Trust.
Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, contraceptive care, menopausal health, and pelvic pain. Miss Latthe has a strong background in both non-surgical approaches and surgical approaches to managing pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent UTIs, and bladder-related pain. She leads the tertiary referral service for urogynaecology across the West Midlands.
In addition to her clinical work, Miss Latthe is actively involved in education and training. She mentors subspeciality trainees in Urogynaecology and regularly teaches medical students, GPs, and allied health professionals.
Her academic contributions include over 80 peer-reviewed publications and 2 authored books. She holds the title of Honorary Reader at the Institute of Systems and Metabolic Research, University of Birmingham, reflecting her commitment to research and innovation in Women’s Health.
