Mr Tariq Miskry is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at St Mary's Hospital, with a specialist focus on minimally invasive surgery for benign gynaecological conditions. He qualified MB BS from the University of London in 1990 and was accredited as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002.
He developed advanced laparoscopic expertise during a three-year fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital, combining surgical training with research. A subsequent visiting fellowship in Sydney further broadened his experience in minimal access surgery and fertility management. Appointed Consultant at St Mary’s in 2003, he now serves as Clinical Lead for Benign Gynaecology and Lead Surgeon for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy at the Endometriosis Surgical Centre at Imperial.
His practice covers both obstetrics and gynaecology, including antenatal care, caesarean delivery, early pregnancy management, fibroid surgery, endometriosis treatment, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and miscarriage care, alongside well woman checks and contraceptive services.
Mr Miskry is committed to shared decision-making, ensuring patients receive clear, current information to make confident choices about their care. He is active in research, publishes regularly, and trains doctors in advanced laparoscopic techniques while presenting at national and international meetings.
