About
Mr. Steve Millington is an experienced consultant orthopaedic & trauma surgeon. His areas of specialism include hip and knee replacements as well as sports injuries affecting the knee and the management of broken bones. He is appointed as a consultant at Barts Health Trust and he works at the Royal London Hospital and Newham University Hospital, where he is the clinical lead for the trauma & orthopaedic department.
Mr. Millington provides specialist care in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery including cartilage repair, transplantation, and ligament reconstruction, musculoskeletal tumour surgery, and general orthopaedic trauma. Having been a competitive rugby player at the elite level, Mr. Millington understands the needs that both sportsmen and women have, alongside their desire to achieve the best outcome to continue pursuing their sporting activities.
Additionally, Mr. Millington has broad international experience, having completed his Ph.D. and several prestigious specialist fellowships at leading centres in the UK, USA, Austria, and Australia. He also speaks German fluently and is happy to provide services in German when necessary.
