Mr Richard Johnson is a Consultant Reconstructive, Cosmetic and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Manchester University NHS Trust. He also runs a private clinic at The Wilmslow Hospital.

He specialises in breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. He also has an interest in cosmetic breast surgery including breast augmentation, breast uplift, breast reduction and advanced cosmetic revision procedures.

After completing a science degree in molecular biology, Mr Johnson graduated in medicine at Manchester University 1997. He was awarded a National Breast Fellowship at the end of his postgraduate training, only nine of these are available in the UK.

Mr Johnson is currently a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon in the Nightingale Breast Centre in Wythenshawe Hospital, a recognised referral centre for complex breast reconstruction surgery. He is also a Medical Director for HCA Healthcare UK at The Wilmslow Hospital and Clinical Lead for the Breast Service.

He is a member of The Royal College of Surgeons England and The Association of Breast Surgeons. In 2013 he was chosen for the Tatler's Doctors Guide, a prestigious publication features those consultants that other clinicians would refer their own family members to.
