Mr. Rhidian Thomas is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in foot surgery, knee and ankle injuries, ligament reconstruction, sports injuries, overuse injuries, and arthroscopic surgery. Mr. Thomas completed his undergraduate training at St. Bartholomew's and achieved a BSc from St. Mary's. His orthopaedic training was in West London, and he undertook a British Orthopaedic Sports Association Travelling Fellowship at Duke University, USA. Mr. Thomas has published and presented at both National and International meetings and holds a higher Master of Surgery degree (MS) in knee ligament reconstruction. He is a member of the prestigious International Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Study Group. He has been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for some 20 years and has been involved in training future Orthopaedic Surgeons and sports physicians. He treats professional and amateur athletes and was a Medical Team Leader for the London 2012 Olympics and a match day Orthopaedic Surgeon for the English RFU, including the 2015 World Rugby Cup final.
