About

Mr Rahul Nath is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust where he is the Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Oncology. He sees patients privately at London Bridge, The Lister and the Portland Hospital. He has a specialist interest in identifying if patients have a gynaecological malignancy, and managing patients with pre-invasive cervical, vaginal and vulval disease and those with ovarian, endometrial, cervical and vulval cancer.

Mr Nath graduated with a BSc in Pharmacology and a Medical degree from the University of Wales in 1992. He went on to train in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the West Midlands and at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital. Following this, he completed a three year research project identifying if women with Lupus have a greater risk of having HPV infection and cervical pre cancer compared to the background population, and was awarded a doctorate (MD) by the University of London. He then completed further subspecialty training in Gynaecological Oncology and was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon and Subspecialist in Gynaecological Oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2006.

Mr Nath was previously Clinical Lead for Gynaecology and Clinical Director for Women’s Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’.
