Mr Norman Waterhouse is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and has a national and international profile for facial rejuvenation surgery.

He trained in Cambridge, Bristol and London in the UK and also trained abroad including periods spent in Bordeaux, Adelaide and Tokyo.

He has a national and international profile for facial rejuvenation surgery. He gained the specialist fellowship FRCS(Plastic Surgery) in 1988. Initially appointed as Consultant Plastic Surgeon at St Bartholomew's and the London hospital, he was subsequently appointed at Charing Cross and St Mary's before becoming Lead Clinician of the Cranio facial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He has published over sixty five papers in the medical literature and is active in the establishment of evidence-based research in aesthetic surgery.

He has a national and international profile in teaching and training, supervising undergraduate degrees and lecturing at international meetings. Last year he performed live facelift surgery in Berlin at the annual meeting of the German Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He co-founded an international children's charity 'Facing the World', providing first world care to children with cranio-facial conditions unable to access or afford treatment. Today he works with Operation Smile, providing cleft lip and palate care for children in developing countries, and has operated in Nicaragua and Peru in the last two years.

He has a holistic approach to aesthetics and believes in preventative and age appropriate interventions. He offers sensible, independent, professional advice and the full range of surgical and non surgical treatments in aesthetic surgery.
