About
Mr Luke Jones is a highly experienced and specialised consultant knee surgeon who offers bespoke knee care to his patients. He has extensive experience in all aspects of knee surgery, from minor sports injuries to complex joint reconstructions, and he takes a patient-centred approach to treatment, tailoring each plan to the individual.
With over 150 joint replacements and 200 arthroscopic knee procedures performed each year, Mr Jones is a leading expert in sports knee injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, early knee arthritis, minimally invasive total knee replacement, and robotic knee replacement surgery. He is also a key opinion leader on partial knee replacement, minimally invasive knee replacement, and daycase knee replacement.
Mr Jones completed his medical qualifications in London and went on to complete basic surgical training, followed by higher orthopaedic surgical training on the Oxford rotation. He also holds a PhD from Oxford University, where his research focused on early knee osteoarthritis and the role of the meniscus in the development of osteoarthritis. Additionally, Mr Jones completed two prestigious fellowships, one at Stanford University Hospital in the USA, and one at the Oxford University Hospitals Sports Knee Service.
Recently, Mr Jones's practice has been recognised as a visitation centre of excellence for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, further highlighting his reputation as a leading expert in knee surgery.
