About

Mr. Keith Britton is a Consultant Physician specializing in Nuclear Medicine. He is renowned internationally for his invention of an infection radioactive antibiotic for infection imaging and his research into radionuclide measurement, diagnosis, and therapy of cancer with radionuclides. He qualified from the University of Cambridge in 1963 before undertaking specialist training in Nuclear Medicine. He was appointed as a Consultant Physician to St. Bartholomew's in 1976 and was made a Professor in Nuclear Medicine in 1993. For a number of years, Mr. Britton was the Director of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research) Nuclear Medicine Group. He is also the co-founder and past president of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine and a member of the British Nuclear Medicine Society.
