About

Mr. Ivo Dukic is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with expertise in endourology, general urology, and the integration of technology in healthcare. He graduated from the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester, completing his basic surgical training in London and Manchester by 2009. Mr. Dukic then specialised in urology through training in the Manchester region and further honed his skills with a fellowship in endourology and laparoscopic renal surgery at the Bristol Urological Institute.

Since becoming a Consultant in 2015, Mr. Dukic has developed broad clinical interests, focusing particularly on complex kidney stone surgery, upper tract cancers, and paediatric urology. His sub-specialist skills in endourology involve minimally invasive procedures using advanced cameras and laser technology to treat conditions such as kidney stones, enlarged prostate, and urinary cancers.

Beyond surgery, Mr. Dukic is passionate about improving healthcare delivery through technology and actively participates in related research projects. He is a strong advocate for patient education, encouraging informed decision-making. As the educational lead for urology at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, he regularly teaches and contributes to national urology training, including serving on the urology exit exam panel and faculty for the National Urology Bootcamp.
