Gold Medalist and one of the UK’s first ten certified cosmetic breast surgeons by the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Mr Haresh Devalia is an award-winning Consultant Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon with a distinguished reputation in both the early diagnosis and expert surgical management of breast conditions, including breast cancer.
He was named Best Student at National Level in General Surgery (India, 1997) and received a prestigious Gold Medal in his final surgical exams. In recognition of his innovative and patient-focused surgical techniques, Mr Devalia—together with his surgical partner—was awarded ‘Best Oncoplastic and Aesthetic Breast Surgeons in England’ for excellence in breast-conserving surgery using local perforator flap reconstruction.
Mr Devalia is committed to preserving the breast wherever possible, offering advanced breast-conserving surgical techniques to help many patients avoid mastectomy. He is passionate about early diagnosis and provides comprehensive care for those presenting with breast symptoms such as lumps, pain, nipple discharge, or swelling.
Having trained at prestigious institutions including The Royal Marsden Hospital, St George’s Hospital London, and within the Oxford and London Deaneries, Mr Devalia brings decades of surgical experience to his practice. He is currently a Consultant at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and practices privately at London Bridge Hospital.
He previously served as Chair of the Breast Cancer Kent TSSG (Tumour Site Specific Group), where he contributed to the development of clinical guidelines and quality care across the region. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Devalia is a Senior Lecturer at both Canterbury Christ Church University and Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS), where he actively trains the next generation of breast and oncoplastic surgeons.
