Mr Enrique Saavedra is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery. His areas of expertise include primary total knee replacements, complex total knee replacements, uni-compartmental knee replacements, revision knee replacements, computer navigated knee surgery, knee ligament injuries (including anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions), cartilage repair, and cartilage transplant.

Mr Saavedra qualified in Medicine with a Licentiate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca, Spain in 1984. He is a member of the review panel for the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery (EJOST) and the International Society for Orthopaedic Surgery (SICOT), and a member of the International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS). His personal interests include golf and travel.
