Mr Elias Kovoor is a UK-based consultant gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgeon specializing in endometriosis, pelvic pain, prolapse, and benign gynaecology. Trained internationally in advanced laparoscopic surgery (UK, France, Japan), he completed a fellowship at IRCAD Strasbourg. Originally educated in India, he trained further in the UK and started his consultant career in 2010.

Mr Kovoor founded a specialist endometriosis service at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust and introduced V-NOTES surgery in the UK. He regularly performs robotic surgery for complex cases and runs clinics at Queen Mary’s Hospital (Sidcup) and Darent Valley Hospital (Dartford), both part of a BSGE-accredited tertiary centre.

Besides endometriosis, Mr Kovoor treats fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, and prolapse. He also teaches laparoscopic and V-NOTES surgery nationally and internationally.
