Professor Adam Rosenthal is a London-based consultant gynaecologist and accredited colposcopist with more than two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, research and education. Recognised nationally for his contribution to cervical screening and cancer prevention, he is regarded as one of the UK’s leading specialists in the early detection and management of gynaecological malignancy.
He graduated in 1992 from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, now part of Imperial College School of Medicine, before completing specialist training across several renowned London teaching hospitals, including Queen Charlotte’s, Hammersmith, St Mary’s and Chelsea and Westminster. He later earned a PhD from St Bartholomew’s Hospital and achieved Royal College subspecialty accreditation in gynaecological oncology, with advanced expertise in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery developed during further training at University College London Hospital.
Professor Adam Rosenthal serves as Consultant Gynaecologist at UCLH, leading both the Colposcopy and Familial Gynaecological Cancer services, where he undertakes a high volume of preventative and diagnostic procedures. In addition, he holds a professorial role in gynaecological cancer prevention at University College London and acts as Trustee and medical advisor to The Eve Appeal. A respected commentator, he frequently lectures internationally and contributes to national media discussions on women’s health.
