Dr Jeeu Sze is a highly accomplished Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine based in the West Midlands. He is the Clinical Governance Lead for Rheumatology at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. He sees his private patients in Birmingham.
Dr Sze specialises in diagnosing and treating conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, pseudogout, juvenile arthritis, Raynaud's phenomenon, fibromyalgia, back pain, osteoporosis, polymyalgia rheumatica, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, sarcoidosis, inflammatory rheumatic diseases as well as connective tissue diseases (CTDs) e.g. Sjogren disease and lupus. He cares passionately about diagnosing inflammatory arthritis such as gout and rheumatoid arthritis early, as well as providing optimal treatment to patients with osteoporosis to prevent fractures.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Liverpool in 2009 before completing his specialist training in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine. He was awarded a prestigious bursary by the European Alliance Of Associations for Rheumatology (previously known as the European League Against Rheumatism) in 2020 for his dedication to holistic patient care.
Dr Sze is regularly commended by patients and colleagues alike for his excellent interpersonal and communication skills. He makes sure his patients have a good understanding of their diagnosis and the treatment options available before starting treatment.
He enjoys reading, listening to music and Thai Boxing in his spare time.
