Irumee Pai

Miss Irumee Pai is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London. Her clinical practice focuses on adult otology, with particular expertise in hearing implant surgery, including cochlear implantation, endoscopic ear surgery, and middle ear and mastoid procedures.

She completed higher specialist training in Otolaryngology across London and the South East of England and was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2013. She subsequently undertook two advanced post-CCT fellowships: one at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in advanced otology and hearing implant surgery, and a second at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in otology and skull base surgery. She was appointed to her consultant position in 2014.

In addition to her clinical work, Miss Pai is actively involved in research and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and three book chapters. She is currently undertaking a part-time PhD at King’s College London.
