Dr Edward Bataillard is a Consultant Haematologist with comprehensive training in both clinical and academic medicine. He read Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge before completing his medical degree at the University of Oxford. He undertook core medical training in North West London and subsequently completed higher specialist training in Haematology within the Imperial College training programme.
During his specialty training, he completed a research fellowship in collaboration with industry, focusing on clinical trials in lymphoma and gaining experience in the development and evaluation of novel oncological therapies. He also pursued advanced fellowship training in stem cell transplantation at Hammersmith Hospital, where he worked as Bone Marrow Transplant coordinator and developed expertise in cellular therapies.
Dr Bataillard’s clinical practice includes the management of lymphoid malignancies, including lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, as well as the delivery of CAR T cell therapy and autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation. He also provides care for a broad range of general haematological conditions. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he remains involved in research activity aimed at improving treatment strategies and outcomes in haematological disease.
