About
Dr. Susie Gabbie is a well-experienced Consultant Paediatrician. She completed her medical degree at the University of Bristol in 1996, followed by rotations in various hospitals across the South-West of England and London. Her diverse clinical background includes emergency care, neonatal care, and general paediatrics. While she initially specialised in paediatric oncology during her Senior Trainee years, Dr. Gabbie found her passion in general paediatrics. She completed her training at Barnet, attaining the status of Consultant in 2009. As a mother of three, Dr. Gabbie deeply understands the concerns of both parents and children. She takes pride in her role, relishing the opportunity to connect with families and provide holistic care tailored to their needs. In her practice, she focuses on children with sleep issues and serves as the Named Doctor for Child Safeguarding. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Gabbie serves as the Service Lead Paediatrician, overseeing a team of 24 Consultants. She also fulfills the role of College Tutor, responsible for the training and development of medical trainees, implementing innovative teaching methods to ensure safe and effective care. Furthermore, Dr. Gabbie plays a role as a Performance Assessor and Assessor Trainer for the General Medical Council.
