Dr Srinivas (Sri) Gada is a highly accomplished Consultant Paediatrician, having served the NHS since 1995. For over 14 years, he has specialised in Child Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and has extensive experience in the assessment and management of children with autism/autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental delay, dyspraxia, learning disability, children with educational difficulties, emotional and behavioural disorders, cerebral palsy and syndromic disorders such as Down Syndrome.

Achieving the highest grades in both his second and final year, Dr Gada graduated with a medical degree in India in 1992. Furthering his education and training at Leicester Royal Infirmary in England from 1996 until 1999, he achieved a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP(UK)).

From 1999 to 2000, Dr Gada undertook specialist training to become an intensivist at Queen's Hospital in Essex and The Royal London Hospital. It was during this time that his daughter was diagnosed with a disability, which in turn inspired his passion to pursue a career in Child Neurodisability. From 2001 to 2005, he undertook training in Child Neuro-Developmental Disorders at The Royal Free Hospital in London, and concurrently undertook a Diploma in Paediatric Neurodisability in Sheffield.

From 2005 to 2019, Dr Gada held the full-time position of Consultant Community Paediatrician with a keen interest in Neurodisability at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Since 2007 he has also held the role of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of Oxford.

Dr Gada also shares a passion for education and is actively involved in teaching and training both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Based in Oxford, London and even abroad, he has been a Course Director for Child Development courses. He has also published widely in the field of paediatrics. Published by the esteemed Oxford University Press, he is the Editor of the Oxford Specialist Handbook in Community Paediatrics. This book, which strongly focuses on Child Neurodevelopment and Neurodisability, is used by doctors not only in the UK, but worldwide.
