Dr Davies has worked extensively in high-performance sport and elite performing arts, particularly in the world of ballet. Since 2017, she has worked at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, providing expert musculoskeletal care to the professional dancers of The Royal Ballet Company, as well as supporting adolescent dancers at The Royal Ballet School. Her work in this highly specialised field has given her a deep understanding of the unique physical demands placed on dancers, helping them prevent injuries, recover effectively, and extend their careers.
Beyond ballet, Dr Davies has worked with professional athletes across multiple disciplines, including extensive experience supporting international sports teams. She was part of the medical team at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and travelled with Athletics at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, providing expert care to world-class competitors performing at the highest level.
