Rebecca Preston

Dr Rebecca Preston is an experienced and qualified Consultant Radiologist. She is currently the radiology lead for cardiac CT at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust- a position she has held since founding the cardiac CT service there. She obtained her Medical Degree from the University of London in 1995, going on to receive specialised training in Munich in cardiac CT before returning to the UK. Since then, she has been responsible for overseeing the cardiac CT service at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Preston is frequently invited to give talks at CT training days, and has specialist expertise in congenital cardiac CT, the usefulness of cardiac CT for chest pain pathways, and novel applications of cardiac CT for structural cardiac interventions. In addition, she takes a keen interest in training and education, often attracting radiology trainees from all over the world to come and work with her. She is highly skilled and experienced in her field, making her an excellent mentor for those looking to enter or progress within this career.
