Dr. Paul Kirk is a Consultant Cardiologist with a focus on general cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging techniques. He graduated from St George's Medical School in 1999 and completed his postgraduate higher specialist training in General Medicine and Cardiology. He completed a fellowship at the Royal Brompton, Imperial College, under the guidance of Professor Dudley Pennell. Dr. Kirk covers a wide range of heart conditions and has a particular interest in cardiac diseases during pregnancy and cardiac imaging techniques. He performs coronary angiography, transthoracic echocardiography, and transoesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Kirk actively carries out research and has published his work in high-ranking journals, presenting both nationally and internationally. His areas of expertise include cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, echocardiology, diagnostic angiography, exercise bike stress echocardiography, catecholamine stress echocardiography, angina, angiography, arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, syncope, hypertension, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and cardiac disease in pregnancy.
