Dr Michael Lunn is a Consultant Neurologist and Clinical Lead in Neuroimmunology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
After studying medicine at Emmanuel College Cambridge, Dr Lunn worked at the Royal Brompton and Hammersmith Hospitals in London before specialising in Neurology at Queen's Square, Guy's, St Thomas's and Charing Cross Hospitals. He was then appointed as a Consultant at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in 2005.
Within the field of Neurology, Dr Lunn pays special interest to the inflammatory neuropathies namely Guillain-Barre syndrome and CIDP. He lectures on these topics in the UK and in Europe.
