Mr Miles is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Wellington Hospital who specialises in knee and hip surgery, including partial and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, revision knee, and revision hip replacement. To achieve the best return to function for patients he performs most of his surgeries robotically to achieve the greatest possible balance and alignment of the joint while minimizing tissue damage. He is one of the highest volume revision joint surgeons in the country and regularly sees second opinions and complex surgery cases. 

Mr Jonathan Miles also treats knee sports injuries for patients of all sports and uses minimally invasive techniques to minimize recovery time. He is one of the UK’s leading surgeons in cartilage repair, as well as has a wealth of experience in meniscal surgery and ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) surgery. 

He carries out his NHS work at the renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. His interest in research has resulted in the publication of more than 100 scientific papers and articles. He is involved at NHS England level in how revision joint surgery is provided and participates in health management, teaching and implant development studies.
