Gary Davies

Dr. Gary Davies is a Consultant Respiratory Physician specialising in pleural diseases and pneumothorax. He completed his medical training in London before undertaking a Senior Fellowship in Respiratory and Intensive Care at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. 

Dr. Davies earned his MD through research on the pressure breathing system of the Eurofighter Typhoon, conducted at the National Heart and Lung Institute and the RAF Centre of Aviation Medicine. He played a key role in establishing the surgical Acute Assessment Unit and is currently leading the development of a dedicated pleural service. 

In addition to general respiratory clinics, Dr. Davies runs a specialist aviation medicine respiratory service. His clinical expertise covers fitness to fly assessments, lung function testing, aviation medicine, lung cancer, pleural effusion, pneumothorax, and sleep disorders.
