Deepa Grover

Dr Deepa Grover is a Consultant in Genitourinary and HIV Medicine. She graduated from University College Medical School, London in 1995 and went on to specialize in Genitourinary / HIV medicine. In 2008 she was appointed as a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine and HIV. Her clinical practice includes the diagnosis, screening, and management of bacterial and viral sexually transmitted infections. She also treats recurrent vaginal infections, including recurrent Candida and Bacterial Vaginosis. She has a specialist interest in genital skin conditions and vulval pain. She cares for patients who are HIV positive and currently runs the anoscopy service. Dr. Grover is actively involved in research focusing on screening and management of Anal intraepithelial neoplasia in HIV-infected patients. She sits on the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH) guideline CEG group and reviews and edits guidelines for the management of sexually transmitted infections. Her expertise includes anoscopy, antiretroviral therapy, post-exposure prophylaxis, STD screening, bacterial vaginosis, candida, genital herpes, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, uterine, vaginal and vulvar disorders, vaginal and penile discharge, and vaginal warts.
