Dr. Danielle Power is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer. She specializes in gastrointestinal cancers, lung, upper gastrointestinal cancers, small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and other types of lung cancer. She undertook oncology training in London at a range of specialist centres, including the Royal Marsden, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, University College, and Hammersmith. Dr. Power has been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists. She was appointed a Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer with a specialist interest in oesophagogastric cancer, lung cancer, and thyroid malignancies. She is trained in chemotherapy, immunotherapies, biological therapies, and radiotherapy, including stereotactic radiotherapy and the use of radionuclide therapies. She is active in teaching, training, and is an investigator or co-investigator in several clinical trials. In 2017, Dr. Power was appointed Clinical Director for Oncology & Palliative Care Services. Her expertise includes chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, biological therapy, palliative care, oesophageal cancer, thyroid cancer, and lung cancer.
