Dr. Borgstein qualified from the Royal Free School of Medicine in 1981. She spent two years in Malawi developing her medical and surgical expertise before returning to London for further training. Dr. Borgstein trained in Paediatrics and then subspecialised in audiovestibular medicine. She has had a broad training that has taken her to many of London's top teaching hospitals, including King's College, Great Ormond Street, University College London, and St George's. Dr. Borgstein works closely with Paediatric and ENT colleagues to provide a comprehensive service to her patients. She has an interest and expertise in assessing and managing hearing loss of any degree in both the context of the whole child and the family. Her areas of expertise include audiovestibular medicine, hearing loss, glue ear, and congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection.
