Dr Deepa Srinivasan is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialist focus on Foetal Medicine and high-risk pregnancy. She practises privately at The Portland Hospital and at mygynaeplus clinics, alongside her senior NHS roles.
She qualified MB BS from the University of Mumbai in 1997 and went on to complete an MD in Foetal Medicine at Imperial College London. As well as this she is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). Dr Srinivasan currently leads Foetal Medicine Services at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust and holds an Honorary Consultant appointment at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Her clinical expertise includes complex and high-risk pregnancies, multiple gestations, detailed foetal ultrasound assessment and the management of placental disorders. She is particularly experienced in supporting women with challenging obstetric histories, offering careful monitoring and personalised care plans.
Alongside medical management, Dr Srinivasan integrates complementary approaches such as guided meditation and pranayama yoga to support emotional wellbeing during pregnancy. By encouraging relaxation, improving sleep and reducing anxiety, she helps women feel calm and supported throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. She is also actively involved in research and education, particularly in complex placental conditions.
