Mr. Daniel Reed is a consultant pediatric orthopedic surgeon at the Children's Orthopaedics practice at The Portland Hospital, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in children and adolescents.
He graduated from Oxford University Medical School, followed by general surgical training in Oxford and London, and subsequently trained in orthopedic surgery on the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital rotation. Mr. Reed completed his specialty fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at The Royal London Hospital and Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland. In 2017, he was appointed a consultant in pediatric orthopedics at Evelina Children’s Hospital, where he has served as Head of Service since 2020.
With broad expertise across the spectrum of pediatric orthopedic conditions, Mr. Reed treats children of all ages, from newborns to young adults.
The Children’s Orthopaedic practice, originally founded by Professor Robert Hill, provides expert diagnosis, treatment, and family support. The team comprises four specialist pediatric orthopedic surgeons: Mr. Reed, Ms. Sarah McMahon, Mr. Jonathan Wright, and Mr. Gregory Firth.
