Dr. Anthony Li is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of various heart rhythm disorders. His expertise lies particularly in managing ventricular arrhythmias, encompassing ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardia.

He completed a fellowship at the esteemed UCLA Cardiac Arrhythmia Centre in California, where he acquired advanced techniques for ablation not commonly practised in the UK.
Dr. Li serves as a consultant at St George's Hospital, a leading cardiac referral centre for South London and Surrey, and conducts clinics at Queen Mary's Hospital. He is actively involved in research and regularly presents his findings internationally. Notably, he contributes to the renowned Journal of the American College of Cardiology for Electrophysiology (JACC EP) as a scholar in residence.
Committed to patient advocacy, Dr. Li participates in the 'Ask the Expert' section of the British Heart Foundation's 'Heart Matters' magazine, providing valuable insights for patients. He also contributes to reviewing patient content for the British Heart Foundation, including leaflets, animations, and illustrations.
Dr. Li graduated with multiple distinctions and awards from St. George's University of London in 2004. His extensive training includes three years of post-doctoral study focused on managing life-threatening heart rhythms. Throughout his career, he has dedicated over five years to specialised training in heart rhythm management, with additional training at the prestigious Cardiac Arrhythmia Centre in Los Angeles, California.
With a wealth of experience, Dr. Li has performed over 1000 catheter ablations and implanted over 1000 devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
