Dr Amanda Bhandari has been practising as a Primary Care Physician within HCA since 2013. She completed her medical degree in 2004 at the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. In addition to her MBBS, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from King’s College London during her undergraduate training. She has further postgraduate qualifications, including the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
Her early clinical training included posts across a broad range of hospital specialties, such as obstetrics and gynaecology, ear nose and throat surgery, emergency medicine, breast surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, general internal medicine, stroke care and diabetes management. She was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2009.
Dr Bhandari’s professional interests include comprehensive family medicine, preventive healthcare and medical screening, women’s health and fertility care, sexual and reproductive medicine, and paediatric health. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, she is involved in undergraduate medical education at King’s College London, where she participates in both teaching and student assessment.
