Dr Ramia Mokbel is a leading Consultant Dermatologist with specialist interest and expertise in skin cancer and mole mapping. Dr Mokbel's specialist interests also include acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, skin allergy and inflammatory skin diseases. She offers private consultations at the Harley Street Clinic and the Skin & Mole Clinic at the distinguished Princes Grace Hospital in London, where offers skin cancer screenings, mole removal and advanced total body mapping, alongside biopsies and skin regenerative procedures.
Dr Mokbel graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2004 from the University of Damascus in Syria, before moving to London and undertaking extensive dermatology training at multiple leading centres, which included a Research Fellowship in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. Broadening her knowledge and expertise in the field, she achieved a postgraduate diploma with distinction in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London in 2012. Her specialist interest in skin cancer and mole mapping was heavily realised during her time as a substantive consultant at St Mary’s Hospital in London, where she worked until December 2020.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Mokbel has published widely in her field of expertise. She also shares a passion for medical education and is actively involved in in teaching and training, as an Honorary Senior Clinical lecturer at the Queen Mary University and Co-Module Lead in Lasers and Energy Based Devices.
