Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon Mr Colin Nnadi is based at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he is a Consultant Spine Surgeon and Clinical Director for Neurosciences Directorate. Mr Nnadi sees private patients at The Portland Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic, both part of HCA Healthcare UK.
Mr Nnadi is an expert in general and complex spinal surgery with a special interest in paediatric and adult spine deformities, particularly early-onset scoliosis. He has undertaken substantial research and published his work in both peer-reviewed publications and textbooks. He also serves as the convenor of the Oxford Early Onset Scoliosis conference, which has an international focus.
Mr Nnadi received his FRCS (Orth) in 2006 after completing his specialty training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery on the Wessex rotation. He then completed subspecialist spine surgery training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London, and the Norfolk & Norwich University Teaching Hospital. Mr Nnadi worked as a locum consultant spine surgeon at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre before moving to Oxford.
Mr Nnadi is on the editorial board of the European Spine Journal and serves as a reviewer for some of the field's most respected journals. He has also served as an Expert Medical Technology Adviser for the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE). Additionally, he is the ex-Chair of the International Growing Spine Committee for the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) and was recently a member of the PhD Assessment Committee (2020 and 2023) for the University of Copenhagen.
Currently Mr Nnadi sees his patients at 88 Harley Street, which is part of The Harley Street Clinic.
