At The Wellington Hospital, we can offer same and next-day private GP appointments when you need them most. We also ensure that you don’t feel rushed when you come to visit one of our GPs, as we offer 30 or 60 minute consultations. This means that you can discuss your health concerns in detail and receive the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment if necessary. 

Private GPs are available across our North London outpatient centres in St John’s Wood, Golders Green and Elstree Waterfront.

Caring for the whole family

All of our Private GPs have longstanding experience in paediatrics and see children from birth. They are able to carry out routine childhood immunisations and developmental checks as well as see children for routine and emergency appointments. Should onward referral be needed they can have same day access to a paediatrician at our sister hospital The Portland Hospital.

Speedy onward referral

Following your GP visit, if you need to have any diagnostic tests these can be done on the same day. If a specialist referral is required then your GP has rapid access to the appropriate specialist at The Wellington Hospital which too can often be on the same day.
