Information for patients: Synnovis data breach

While at HCA Healthcare UK we use our own laboratories for the majority of our tests results, we have used a provider called Synnovis for certain specialised blood and urine tests.

We are aware that Synnovis has been subject to a cyber security attack which has enabled cyber criminals to access some patient information from a number of hospitals in both the NHS and independent sectors.

Unfortunately we anticipate that some HCA UK patient data may be amongst that illegally accessed, and we are working with Synnovis as a matter of urgency to confirm the impact of this.

We understand this may cause concern for our patients and we will be providing updates here as soon as we have any relevant information.
