Exercise echocardiogram (ECG)
Exercise stress test
A test to show how well your heart works during exercise, which helps diagnose coronary heart disease and arrhythmia
About an exercise ECG
An exercise echocardiogram helps reveal coronary heart disease, cardiac arrhythmia, high blood pressure, dizziness and shortness of breath as you exercise on a treadmill or exercise bike. The test also shows how well your heart is working after major surgery such as coronary bypass surgery or coronary angioplasty.
