Mr. Philip Turner is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in conditions of the knee, with a special interest in sports injuries, ligament reconstructions, partial and total knee replacement, and revision surgery. He is an Honorary Professor in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Salford. He has served as President of the British Orthopaedic Association and is an elected Trustee, Council member, and chair of the Professional Standards Committee of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Mr. Turner has been a training programme director, Head of the NW School of Surgery, and founding chair of the Confederation of Postgraduate Schools of Surgery for the UK. He established the Greater Manchester Orthopaedic Alliance and has been Clinical Lead for the restructuring of orthopaedic and trauma services across Greater Manchester.
