Dr Robin Chatterjee is a consultant in musculoskeletal, sports and exercise medicine specialising in bone, muscle and joint pain with an unknown cause. He is able to treat sports and dance-related injuries and explores the role of sleep, hormones, stress, nutrition, and physical activity in pain. He uses both traditional and cutting edge medical techniques in his treatment, which includes exercise prescription, exercise therapy, injections, PRP, prolotherapy, shockwave therapy, and ultrasound scan.

Dr Chatterjee received his training in musculoskeletal, sports, and exercise medicine at Charing Cross Hospital, Queen Mary University of London, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and Hammersmith Hospital. He worked as a GP in emergency medicine, anaesthesia, and intensive care medicine for a number of years in both the UK and Australia before becoming a specialist.
Dr Chatterjee is the General Secretary of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) and a member of the European College of Sport and Exercise Physicians' research committee. He has won a number of awards for his research into low vitamin D as a cause of low back pain, and he has published a number of articles on musculoskeletal problems.
