About
Jennifer is a general gynaecologist with a special interest in urogynaecology. Appointed as a consultant in 2000, she has over 20 years of experience working privately. She has a wealth of experience in the non-surgical management of urinary symptoms and is trained in urodynamic (bladder) testing. Jennifer performs outpatient procedures such as Botox injections for overactive bladder and urethral bulking for stress incontinence. She offers a full range of surgical procedures to treat both incontinence and prolapse, including procedures without the use of mesh. Jennifer has extensive experience in general gynaecology, treating menstrual problems and menopause symptoms, and performs general gynaecological procedures such as hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and hysterectomy. She offers vaginal laser therapy for vaginal dryness and discomfort associated with menopause. Jennifer has served on the Specialist Education Committee of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and led the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department in Wigan as Clinical Director. She is also a committee member of the NICE guideline group on Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and the UK Continence Society guideline for the use of vaginal pessaries to treat prolapse. Her areas of expertise include urodynamic studies, colposuspension, autologous fascial sling, and vaginal laser therapy for vaginal dryness (MonaLisa Touch).
