Dr. James Pattison is a Consultant Nephrologist with primary clinical interests in managing patients with glomerular diseases and kidney transplantation. Dr. Pattison qualified from Oxford University Medical School and specialized in kidney medicine at Guy's and Stanford University Medical Center, California. He has been a full-time nephrologist for 25 years and has a very busy clinical practice. His research work includes being the principal investigator in clinical trials studying new immunosuppressive agents used in kidney transplantation treatment. Dr. Pattison's areas of expertise include dialysis, kidney transplantation (medical care), kidney disease diagnosis and treatment, kidney biopsy, glomerular disease, kidney failure, hypertension, diabetic nephropathy, blood in urine, proteinuria, autoimmune kidney disease, and polycystic kidney disease.
