Dr Bhuvan Kishore is a highly experienced Consultant Haematologist, having worked in the field for almost a decade. He received his medical training in London and Birmingham, completing his super-specialisation in stem cell transplantation at the Hammersmith Hospital, London before joining Heartlands Hospital.
Dr Kishore has vast experience in treating all haematological disorders, including Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma, Acute and Chronic Leukaemia, Allogeneic/Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation and thrombosis. He has completed numerous diagnostic bone marrow examinations and delivers a busy haematology service at Heartlands, Good Hope and Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey, treating on average 50-75 outpatients and 20 inpatients per week.
Dr Kishore is a lead investigator in over 6 clinical trials via the research unit in MIDRU, and his current research interest is focused on Myeloma. He also leads the education portfolio and delivers a CPD accredited education program at Heartlands Hospital, as well as training haematology registrars as a named clinical supervisor. Dr Kishore is also responsible for delivering a service in day units at both Heartlands and Good Hope hospitals.
Dr Kishore is committed to providing accessible and efficient care, with consultation offered mostly within 24 to 48 hours. His patients also have access to clinical trials via the NHS for eligible patients, particularly those with Myeloma and Bone marrow transplant needs.
